The Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix exists to support and foster the growth of performing arts in Phoenix as a premier performance venue, arts incubator and advocate. The theater is home to four resident companies and hosts the productions of another four local groups.

Built in 1989, the Herberger Theater Center houses two main stages, the largest accommodating eight hundred. Along with performances on its main stage, the theater offers regular Lunch Time Theater productions showcasing young, emerging Phoenix theater companies.

In its Art Gallery, the Herberger Theater Center also features creative and inspiring work of Arizona artists.
