The mission of Central Community Theatre is to enhance the quality of community life through theatre, bringing together diverse levels of talent and skill in a supportive artistic environment. The theatre is backed by Central Arts Players, an organization that has produced over 36 full-scale productions in the Phoenix area from 1964 to 2006, focusing on showcasing the expertise of local talent.
As CAP’s current and largest undertaking, Central Community Theatre was formed in 2006 to bring full production seasons to the Phoenix area and to offer workshop opportunities intended to develop and nurture stagecraft and performance skills.
