The Artist of Sound

Did you know that right now, all around you, there is a symphony ringing out its song upon your every step? Welcome to the sound track of your life. Have you been missing it all these years, so caught up in the hustle of your everyday that you don’t even stop to hear the music you have inadvertently created? Allow me to open your eyes to the orchestra you’ve been missing.

Let me start with a very brief science lesson. Sound waves are created by vibrations across some sort of plane (air, water, metal, etc.), and you hear them when they vibrate the membranes and fluids inside your ear, consequently sending a signal for your brain to interpret as a sound. So couldn’t it technically be true that all vibrations are sounds? Just because you can’t hear them, doesn’t mean they aren’t there, right? If that’s the case, exactly how many sounds are out there, that you have not picked up on yet? And in the same manner, how much music have you not been listening to, even though it plays all around your daily routine, from instruments that are completely out of the ordinary.
