Whats this about race and Superman? I just grw up where I had no heroes or role models on TV or in rhe comics that looked like me. It was troubling to realize that all the latino characters were gangbangers, prisoners or really messed up people. Me, I identified with the greats: Superman, Batman, Johny Cash, John Wayne and all the badasses.
If when a person identifies with a character, that person becomes that character. Then I believe that that character should become the person who is doing the identifying. Receprocity, right?
